What is the APMA Seal of Acceptance and why does it matter?

We’re excited to share that our Pretty Brave 1st Walker and Child footwear range (excluding Puddle boots) has earned the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance.

What is the APMA Seal of Acceptance?

The APMA created the Seal Program over 50 years ago to recognize products that support healthy foot function. It’s voluntary and awarded to over 1,000 products that meet strict scientific, safety, and quality standards. The Seal lasts up to three years.

Why is the Seal important?

The APMA helps podiatrists and the public make informed choices about foot health. Since podiatrists provide most  foot care in the U.S., the APMA highlights products made with consumer comfort and safety in mind.

How products qualify:

A committee of podiatric doctors reviews footwear, materials, and related products for foot health. After thorough review, recommendations go to the APMA Board for approval.

What it means for us and you:

Our 1st Walker and Child range (excluding Puddle boots) meets APMA’s standards for good foot health and development, showing our commitment to high-quality, supportive footwear.
